The length and width should not be too large. The skateboard then becomes too slow and fast moves are not possible. The length of a skateboard is around 31 inches and the width is around 8 inches. The size depends on the height of the person and the size of the shoes. The skateboard decks have therefore become slightly larger in recent years.
The trucks are compact and steer very little. That makes sense because you don't want a skateboard to go all over the place when you land after a big jump. Then he should just go straight ahead.
